I’m gonna level with you guys - I was NOT prepared for February to end so quickly! I really have been feeling those few missing days, especially after such a beast of a January. So this newsletter may be a little sparse, with my major updates being Clown Alley is QUICKLY approaching, and I am so pleased to announce I’ll be doing my first queer market April 27th, at Fulton Street Market in Grand Rapids!
This month, you can find me and my art at two place other than Clown Alley - and they are both on the same weekend:
For Art Hop, I am proud to be sharing a print of mine in the Trans Day of Visibility Gallery at OutFront. I will be alongside several other trans artists, and it’s going to be a great time. Come see us at OutFront Kalamazoo, Friday 3/7, 5-8pm.
That same weekend I will have my art in the Starlite Collective Mini (Art) Mart. The mart will be open Friday-Sunday, 3/7-3/9, at the Saniwax Gallery at Park Trades Center and will have art for sale from over 25 local creatives.

In case you hadn’t heard yet (though I don’t know how you wouldn’t have), this month I am hosting my first art show alongside my amazing studio mate, Michelle. We hope that you will join us at Clown Alley for a two-day show celebrating silly guys! RSVP on Facebook here ♡
Here’s a sneak peek at the poster, to be released later this week:
We are also still looking for artists to host, and that means: YOU! Please share the word with anyone you know who might be interested in submitting to Clown Alley so we can really pack the gallery full.
Don't know what to submit? Here are some things we are looking for:
Tiny art
Black & white art
Youth art
Beginner art
Interactive art
Readable art
Submissions are due March 14th.
Want to help out at Clown Alley without submitting art? We are looking for donations for decorations and display purposes. Contact me if you would like to help!
I am having so much fun working on my piece for this show, and I am very excited to share it with everyone. Here are some of my favorite carved bits from my block so far.

Yr Dead by Sam Sax
A stream of consciousness style novel that explores Ezra’s life and memories after they self-immolate. I am about halfway through and enjoying it thoroughly.
The Remarkable Rescue at Milkweed Medow by Elaine Dimopoulos
Butternut is a bunny with anxiety living in a meadow with her family of reclusive storytelling bunnies. She meets a robin and begins to learn about the importance of community. Very sweet and charming, with beautiful illustrations throughout.
